Jerome “Jerry” Henry,
Jr., President
Jerry started his entrepreneurship at an early
age. While in his teens, he collected and sold
scrap metal to make extra money. Eventually, he
built his modest business into Midwest Pipe &
Steel, Inc., one of the area’s largest steel
service centers. Through the years, Jerry has
owned and has been involved with many other
steel related and non-steel related businesses.
He has also been very active in the Fort Wayne
community.
Doug Ford, Vice President of
Administration
A veteran of 28 years in the steel industry and
a native of Ft. Wayne, Doug has been with
Midwest Pipe since 1995. Doug is responsible for
a few major accounts as well as handling the
company’s human-resource needs. Married with one
grown son, Doug appreciates that, for its size,
Midwest Pipe still maintains a family
atmosphere.

Jim Bonahoom, CFO
A native of Fort Wayne, Jim was introduced to
the steel industry when he joined Midwest Pipe
in 2003. With several years experience and an
accounting degree from Indiana University, Jim
is well qualified to oversee Midwest Pipe’s
financial affairs.

to improve our bottom line.”
Don “Tiny” Wright, Vice President of Sales
Don has been with Midwest Pipe for more than 20
years joining the company as a front-line-sales
associate and working his way up to Vice
President of the division. The father of two
grown children, Don has played an important role
in Midwest’s impressive sales growth over the
years.

Laura A. Smith, Vice President of
Purchasing
Laura has worked in the steel distribution
industry for more than 20 years, all of them
with Midwest Pipe. Laura’s role overseeing the
Purchasing Department has been instrumental in
Midwest Pipe’s continued success throughout the
past two decades.

Shelly Jackson, Outside Sales
After working in the steel industry for 14
years, Shelly joined Midwest Pipe in 2003. A
native of nearby Huntington, IN, she is
responsible for meeting with customers and
working with them one-on-one.

Jan Bell, Inside Sales
Jan has been in the steel industry since 1995,
most of them with Midwest Pipe. A Fort Wayne
native, Jan has all the latest tele-communications
equipment at her disposal to stay in constant
contact with her customers.

Debra Dobias, Sales Associate
Although Debra is a fairly recent addition to
Midwest Pipe, she has nearly 30 years experience
in the steel industry. Debra is dedicated to
providing our customers with the quality
products and excellent service they have come to
expect.

Dave Stouder, Vice President of Corporate
Development
Dave recently joined Midwest Pipe and brings
with him more than 20 years in the steel
industry. A graduate of Indiana University, Dave
oversees business development for the company.
